MIRoS sensor robot, winner of the RIMA programme
With ELEMENT, our partner from Toulouse, we presented the MIRoS project, which is one of the 19 projects selected for funding through the RIMA acceleration programme.
MIRoS (Mobile Innovative Robot with Sensor) is a robot-sensor dedicated to the inspection of nuclear installations. The robot-sensor is equipped to perform video inspections and investigation missions (physical measurements and mapping). Thanks to an optimised modular integration, the robot-sensor is compact and light. It is also wireless, autonomous and moves holonomously. All of its functions are guaranteed and qualified to operate in a radiation environment.
